Rev. Dr. James Prothro, Pastor
Pastor Jim has been a part of our ministry starting with his ordination on December 4, 2016. Raised in different denominations in several different states, he was led to the Lutheran church by a campus ministry and was confirmed in the fall of 2005. He graduated from Concordia University Texas and went on to Concordia Seminary. While in seminary, he also completed a degree in ancient Greek and Latin ("Classics") at Washington University in St. Louis, and after that he received a PhD from the University of Cambridge studying the history and theology of the New Testament. While in seminary he met and married his dear wife Ashley, who served as a deaconess for the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod in elder care in St. Louis and then as a missionary during their time in England. They have two daughters: Sophia (2014) and Heidi (2017). Pastor Jim loves music, stories, and writing and reading.
Pastor can be contacted via the church's email address and phone found on the homepage of this website.
